STEFANIE RUTIFLIANORMT - Registered Massage Therapist
RMT - REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Stefanie Rutigliano graduated from the intensive 3000 hour program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (formally Utopia Academy). Born and raised in Vancouver Stefanie attended Simon Fraser University majoring in Communications and Publishing. Stefanie believes that “form follows function”. A principle associated with architecture but an idea that lends itself well to the human body. Bodies are structured anatomically so that they function optimally.
Whether it be from an injury, illness, coping with stress, motor vehicle accident, or a way to gain body awareness a massage helps to nudge our bodies in the right direction. Stefanie employs a variety of treatment modalities such as myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, neuromuscular therapy, hydrotherapy, dynamic stretching, along with stretches. Stefanie is passionate about the use of Massage Therapy by all ages and walks of life to maintain or improve overall health.
She works diligently towards an integrative approach wherein clients play an important role in their care. As well, active collaborative effort takes place amongst fellow healthcare practitioners. Outside of the workplace Stefanie likes to hang out with her friends and family, cook, read, and explore a new part of the world. She is also an avid painter and has her own collection of art work.
