Chiropractic Care in North Vancouver

Discover the Power of Spinal Health

North Shore Sports Medicine is proud to offer Chiropractic Care at both of our locations. Visit our Online Booking Page to make an appointment!

Chiropractic care focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine. Chiropractors use a variety of techniques, including spinal manipulation, to help alleviate pain and discomfort in their patients. Regular visits to a chiropractor can provide a range of benefits, including improved posture, increased mobility, and reduced pain and stiffness.

Chiropractors use a holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes the body’s natural ability to heal itself. They work to identify the underlying causes of a patient’s pain or discomfort and develop a personalized treatment plan to address those issues. This can include a combination of spinal manipulation, exercise therapy, and lifestyle changes.

FAQ

What does a chiropractor do?

Chiropractors can help with all sorts of issues, from assessing and diagnosing pain to creating care plans. They focus on treating bones, muscles, soft tissues, and joints, which are all crucial for supporting weight, body stability, and overall movement.

Why see a chiropractor?

Chiropractors are experts in correcting joint motion and restoring proper movement, which can help alleviate pain and prevent it from recurring. They can treat a variety of conditions that affect the neck, back, and joints, as well as certain types of headaches and migraines.

The benefits of seeing a chiropractor go beyond just pain relief, however. By working with a chiropractor, you can also improve your range of motion, flexibility, and overall physical function. They can help you recover from injuries more quickly and prevent future ones from occurring, allowing you to stay active and healthy over the long term.

Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?

Many extended health care plans partially or fully cover the services of a chiropractor in North Vancouver. Depending on your injury, chiropractic care may be covered by ICBC or WorkSafeBC. Those in BC who receive MSP Premium Assistance are also eligible for coverage of $23 per visit for a combined annual limit of 10 visits per calendar year.

Chiropractic Care & Multi-disciplinary Healthcare

Why settle for a one-size-fits-all fix when your body deserves a tailored approach? Chiropractic care at our clinic blends seamlessly with registered massage therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and nutrition services to create a holistic approach that’s all about you. Additionally, we provide patient education and ongoing support to empower you throughout your recovery journey.

This multi-disciplinary vibe means we’re not just slapping a Band-Aid on your chronic pain—we’re digging deep to fix the cause. Our chiropractic team collaborates to craft a treatment plan that’s as unique as your fingerprint, whether you’re battling joint dysfunctions or recovering from an injury.

Bundle with Massage Therapy

Why go solo when you can team up chiropractic care with registered massage therapy? Pairing these powerhouses amplifies your healing. Massage therapy loosens tight soft tissue, while chiropractic adjustments keep your spine in check. Before starting treatment, therapists assess soft tissue and joint function to tailor the approach to your specific needs. It’s like a one-two punch for chronic pain and neck pain.
