Clinical Counselling in North Vancouver

Support for the mental and emotional side of recovery, change and everyday life.

Physical health and mental health often overlap

Pain, injury, concussion, a motor vehicle accident, work stress, major life changes or ongoing health concerns can affect mood, sleep, confidence, relationships and how you feel day to day.

North Shore Sports Medicine offers clinical counselling through North Vancouver Counselling

Providing dedicated mental health support alongside NSSM’s broader approach to health and recovery. North Vancouver Counselling provides adults with a welcoming, confidential and practical space to talk through what they are experiencing, build useful coping strategies and move forward with greater clarity. In-person and virtual counselling options are available.

Counselling for Recovery, Pain & Life Changes

Recovery is not always only physical. Persistent pain, injury, concussion or a motor vehicle accident can affect sleep, mood, work, relationships, motivation and confidence.

For people already receiving care through NSSM, North Vancouver Counselling can provide dedicated mental health support alongside their broader care when appropriate. This may be especially useful for people navigating chronic pain, concussion recovery, changes in activity or identity, fear around returning to movement, or the emotional impact of a car accident.

For people receiving care through ICBC, contact North Vancouver Counselling or book through Jane to confirm current counselling options and coverage details.

Counselling can be especially valuable when physical recovery and emotional wellbeing overlap, including during chronic pain, concussion recovery, injury rehabilitation or recovery after a motor vehicle accident.

Virtual Counselling

Virtual appointments are also available for clients who prefer to meet remotely or find it difficult to attend the clinic in person.
